A Passion for Cooking from an Early Age
Trevor’s journey into the culinary world began at just 13 years old when his parents purchased a seafood restaurant on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Starting as a kitchen hand, he quickly fell in love with the energy and excitement of the kitchen.
“The excitement and energy of the kitchen during service had me wanting more, and from that moment, I was hooked. I have continued to learn and push myself ever since.”
Over the years, he has worked in restaurants, cafes, hotels, private dining experiences, and large-scale events, even preparing meals for a select few celebrities.
A Career Defined by Excellence
Throughout his career, our Head Chef has achieved numerous accolades and experiences that have shaped his cooking style. His time as Chef de Cuisine in the Netherlands and his work at the Michelin-starred Karel V Hotel in Utrecht allowed him to refine his skills at an elite level. Additionally, Trevor has competed in the national selection for the prestigious Bocuse d'Or competition in Lyon, France, and reached the Chef of the Year national finals in both Sydney and Melbourne. Over two decades, he has earned numerous gold medals in individual and team competitions, further cementing his reputation as a culinary leader.
