Supporting Local Wildlife and Community: Our Collaboration with Vets For Compassion
We are excited to share that we have partnered with Vets For Compassion, a non-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving animal welfare in the local community. Consisting of a team of veterinarians, vet nurses, wildlife darters and wildlife rescuers, they volunteer their time and effort to provide medical care, rehabilitation and re-homing for Australian wildlife, domestic animals and farm animals.
This partnership is especially significant as Australia faces the aftermath of devastating bushfires, including those in the Grampians, which have left countless animals in need of care.
Why This Partnership Matters
Australia’s wildlife is not only iconic but also a crucial part of our ecosystems. Bushfires cause widespread destruction, leaving many animals injured and displaced. Vets For Compassion plays a vital role in responding to these crises, deploying skilled veterinarians and volunteers to provide life-saving care. As such Vets For Compassion will be deployed to the Grampians to help affected wildlife in the area when needed.
How We Are Supporting
To support their mission, we are:
Raising Funds: From the sale of our kangaroo plushies to special initiatives, all proceeds will directly fund bushfire relief efforts.
Spreading Awareness: Through our platforms, we aim to amplify the important work that they do, what they require and encourage community support.
Hosting a Fundraising Event: Join us for Nights for Compassion, a special evening featuring an auction, live entertainment, and opportunities to connect with the incredible team at Vets For Compassion. Together, we will raise funds and celebrate their impactful work.
